Course Content*

Week 1: Mindfulness of Breath & Introduction to Mindfulness

Week 2: Mindfulness of Body & Introduction to Embodied Presence

Week 3: Mindfulness of Three Habitual Ways of Meeting Experience: Like (Demand), Don't Like (Defend), and Uninterested (Distract)

Week 4: Mindfulness of Emotions: Working Skilfully with Emotion

Week 5: Mindfulness of Thought: From Lost in Thought to Knowing Our Thoughts with Kindness & Working Skilfully with the Inner Critic

Week 6: Heartfulness: Cultivating a Loving Presence & Working Skilfully with what Obscures our Kindness and Love



*The four- and six-week courses have the same content. The deepening retreat covers content that is covered in the final two weeks of the six-week course. 

Session Content

Each week includes short periods of teaching, simple experiential Mindfulness practices, interactive exercises, optional mindful movement, and sharing how your practice is going.

Between classes there will be short practices to do daily at home.
